AIP Healthcare Japan GK ("AIP") has been selected as a fund manager by the incorporated association of Real Estate Sustainability & Energy-Efficiency Diffusion (“RE-SEED”) to promote earthquake resistant and energy efficient real estate. We established a partnership ("LPS") where AIP is the General Partner, and RE-SEED is the Limited Partner. The LPS will invest through an SPC to develop senior housing facilities in Tokyo with a certain degree of environmental performance, and aims to provide high quality real estate with high environmental performance.

On February 12th, 2016, we established "AIP Tokyo Metropolitan Area Welfare Contribution LPS". AIP Healthcare Japan GK is the General Partner, and the Limited Partners consist of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and others (LPs who agreed to be disclosed are BOT Lease Co., Ltd. and Fuyo General Lease Co., Ltd.). The Fund aims to supply senior housing and child care support facilities within the Tokyo Metropolitan Area.

AIP Healthcare Japan Selected as One of Tokyo Metropolitan Government (“TMG”)'s Fund Managers
AIP Healthcare Japan has been chosen to be a fund manager of the "Public-Private Partnership Infrastructure Fund for Contribution to Welfare" formed by TMG, and received a 2.5 billion yen (about $20.8 million @120 yen/$) commitment. As part of an initiative to strengthen Tokyo's status as a global financial center, this Fund aims to supply Tokyo with senior housing, child care support facilities and a Tokyo-version "CCRC".
